Task 1 yêu cầu bạn mô tả biểu đồ, bảng, quy trình hoặc bản đồ — không tranh luận, không đưa ý kiến cá nhân. Giám khảo chấm Task Achievement (bạn có trả lời đúng đề và nêu được xu hướng chính không), Coherence, Lexical Resource và Grammar. Thời gian gợi ý: khoảng 20 phút, độ dài khoảng 150 từ.
TA — Task Achievement
Paraphrase đề, mô tả dữ liệu có chọn lọc (main features), so sánh khi phù hợp. Overview (tổng quan) là phần quan trọng nhất — thiếu overview thường bị giới hạn band.
CC — Coherence & Cohesion
Chia 3–4 đoạn rõ ràng: mở bài ngắn, overview, 1–2 đoạn chi tiết. Dùng từ nối hợp lý (however, in contrast, similarly) — không lạm dụng.
LR / GRA — Lexical Resource & Grammar
Paraphrase đề và tránh lặp từ (proportion, figure, rate). Dùng đa dạng cấu trúc mô tả số liệu và xu hướng; kiểm tra số ít/số nhiều và thì phù hợp với dữ liệu quá khứ/dự báo.
